Grace is a writer, imaginary, and world-builder curating at the intersection of queerness, resource mobilization, climate & environmental justice, and Black dignity & imagination. She is grounded and guided by Walida Imarisha’s visionary fiction, Christina Sharpe’s wake work, bell hook’s revolutionary love, and tasha’s reminder to take care. She approaches her work with curiosity, limitlessness, and an unflinching orientation toward abundance and collective liberation.
She’s an alum of Storyknife Writers Retreat in Alaska, PhiloXenia Writers Retreat in Morrocco, and Rockland Woods Residency’s inaugural Black artists cohort
She created and stewards The Lupine Collaborative(TLC), a literary organization advancing environmental and climate justice by abundantly resourcing Black women, non-binary, and transgender people to dream, ideate, and build toward a liberatory future. TLC resources these communities through writing retreats, a writer-in-residence program, grants, and a partnership with Milkweed Editions.
In addition to world-building, Grace is delighted by her community, food, writing, books, bicycles, and trying to travel everywhere with one bag.
